I take a annual vacation to a place 70 miles from pavement. At least 35 miles from the nearest cell reception. The best part of this trip is the relief I get from the constant wine in my ears.

Is there any way the noise I'm hearing isn't tinnitus but electronics?

You could always construct a Faraday cage to find out. Your tinnitus completely fades? Could it be that you are free of stress on the vacation and this benefits your ears? Or that the quiet of the natural surroundings help to calm down your ears?

You may have just been distracted...part of the habitation process...your mind chooses to ignore it and concentrate on a new environment...

Mine improves away from the city. I think all those EM waves and radiation in the air could affect tinnitus.
