Why Have Both of My Ear Canal Entrances Shrunk in Size?

What is bothering me is both of my ear entrances have shrunk. I can hardly get my little finger in each ear & my little fingers have not got larger.

When I actually put my finger in the outer apparatus & press and stretch each opening gently, some fluid runs down my throat too.

What frightens me is the outer ear hole will close up & I'll be trapped with the hissing sound in my head.

Good question, but I am not an ENT and don't feel comfortable responding, especially without examining you (which is another way of saying, "Sorry, but I just don't know.")

My suggestion would be to make an appointment with an ENT and ask him or her.
