I was telling a friend that I'd read how lidocaine injection during dental work quiets tinnitus so I was thinking about visiting a dentist, haha. So he said he has lidoderm patches he uses for shingles pain and maybe if I stick one to my left temple (where my tinnitus shrieks) it would stop it. WELL? Does anybody know the answer? He also offered me some flexeril. I'm not one to take other people's meds but I swear this is driving me crazy enough that I would almost consider it.

O my Lisa, that's scary! Thx for sharing, both of you. I wasn't really going to try it but you know, sometimes I just get to feeling desperate....

Totally get that, Isabella. A fellow t friend also had her t caused by topical lidocaine. We both have low buzzing racing car reactive t from it. I am 4 months since onset, and know the meaning of desperate.

How did you get your t, Isabella? If it is relatively new, it could still fade away.
