My tinnitus is so loud I can't even scream loud enough to mask it. No matter where I am, no matter what I try, there is no escape. I want something to kill me. I'm not suicidal, but can someone just put me out of my misery? :( I've tried everything guys... This is ruining my perfectly happy...

I feel your pain, I e had this for four miserable years... :( I'm at the end of my role now. I've tried just about everything, I never thought I should've cared for my ears so much as a kid. I can never enjoy peace and quite the rest of my life.

I actually already set myself up an appointment with a psychiatrist, my appointment is Nov 8. Hopefully they will take me seriously unlike my general Doctor. Hopefully with the medication I'll be able to get more sleep for the short term. It's just been so much harder to cope with lately... My...

@Michael Leigh First thank you to everyone who responded to my thread so rapidly, I really appreciate it being a new member to this site and all. But in response to Michael, I rarely listen to headphones and if I do it's not to loud. I have gone to a couple rock concerts but I never notice it...

At age 15 I noticed a blocked up feeling in my left ear that caused me significant high pitch hearing loss accompanied with an intense high pitch ring in my ear.
