Doc said noise exposure won’t make H worse in the long run, but too much can trigger a migraine. So yeah I’m totally risking triggering another migraine and going back to the pain, but it’s more than worth it.
So the med I'm taking is gabapentin (a nerve pain medication and migraine blocker). I've been told this is ototoxic as of yesterday so keep that in mind. But at the same time I was put on propranolol, another migraine blocker, so I don't know which one is stopping the ear pain. I am still having...
Yes I know, it's amazing! Turning on my favorite song and just hearing it again put me in tears. I feel like the weight of the world came off of me, so even though it's settling back on again I feel okay. One amazing day is all I need
Thanks LindaS! If you guys already know, I don't have hearing loss H, I have migraine H. None of the many drugs I've tried have touched it and suddenly out of the blue these new ones started working! Feels good to finally have a break, even though right now a new migraine is starting up again.
Oh then you will love them, they should be discrete (if you don't get florescent pink like I did) so walking the streets with them will be great. Be warned though, they told me replacing EACH filter was $50 and that was through my doc who was the best deal.
