Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
@Bill Bauer yes but only a few times and in all of them the sound was even lower than the istanbul traffic. And it hasnt gotten worse right after them.
If the increase was recent, there is still a chance that it is just a temporary spike. Temporary spikes can last for over three months (like one of my temporary spikes).
I am at a point where no noise can even partially mask my T tones. I also took amitriptyline when it started 2 years ago and it worked wonders but now I am afraid of any potential damage to Idk anything above my shoulders including my brain.
@Bill Bauer quote: I would listen to the sound of crickets. At first you continue to focus on your T, but eventually you can begin focusing on the crickets...
Speak for yourself. that's not the case for everybody.

Well, what I was trying to say is that people shouldn't give up if after five minutes all they can think about is their T. They need to give it at least half an hour before quitting.
I have given it an hour+ and no matter how long time, The sound enrichment merely remains background noise, if the T can still be heard above it.....for me that is.
For the record ; it subsided. And even went to 0.1 out of 10. It has been like that for the last 72 hours more or less. It even went to zero for a couple of hours. What I do ; I take melatonin, magnesium, I do muscular exercises for my TMJD and started a strict anti-inflammatory diet (similar to Liam's but %70)
