My worst tone now very rarely appears, about once a month. And my crickets are very low volume and not as intrusive as they were.

@Tezcatlipoca, yeah the faint crickets showed up for me about a year ago. Not too bad. Recently I had this morse code beeping that came and went; which I am not so cool with.
How are your crickets doing now? Have they died down? @Diesel
I have to lie still with earplugs in for about 20 minutes for the "not cool" sounds to settle down, and then I'm in what I call equillibrium state... until I move.
