Ha! I remember it SO well. Very scary days. Still scared sometimes. I always have plugs with me and ear defenders in my bag - AND I'm never scared to put them on/in no matter where or what situation I am in.

Absolutely - I put them on everywhere now, it's just not worth the risk otherwise. My ear still hurts from putting my left plug in too deep though, first time it's ever happened. So I'm being far more careful with them
@Charburchar I am always rushing about and have a habit of taking them out too quickly - yes, it does hurt. Usually takes a few hours, sometimes a day to stop feeling sore afterwards. Oh the joys of ear problems. Aren't we lucky. Have you moved out of London yet?
Sometimes it feels like world is constantly erupting around me and I'm dodging potential loud explosions. Literally every day.
I'm in the "fuck it, I'm doing what I want" phase. Always with earplugs in though.
