yep. i took 3 months off work when it hit. It's mostly in my left ear and was so loud i could not hear people talking to me. I used my right ear to work mostly. Now its like I have high pitch static most times so I can trick myself into just thinking it's headphone feedback. Hope it keeps getting lower and lower until its gone.

Yes and no. It's sometimes static with a ring on top. Hard to explain.

Sorry, I have been there. high pitch eeee, Electrical sounds, white noise machine, cicadas, air leak, hissing. It's fucking crazy our brains make up insane sounds! There needs to be a cure!
