@Strawberryblonde I know exactly this feeling. Currently battling phonophobia so I gotta rewire how I feel torwards sound. never imagined I would develop phobia to sound
It's messed with my brain this time around. Getting out of that head space is a tough one especially if one is already an anxious person. You will get there eventually though, keep thinking positive.
I took a holiday to Vietnam for this exact reason. Your brain is so preoccupied with excitement and curiosity that there is very little time to worry and stress about 5000 scooters passing you honking their horns. I feel like it really helped
@Strawberryblonde it messed with mine too what I'm dealing with is another type of monster. My ears violently spasm to everyday harmless noises such as doors closing and light switches clicking off and on. Running the tap at high levels sounds like Niagra falls. I'm sure these are typical symptoms of H mixed with ttts and anxiety
I had a a pretty good December and that was because my anxiety was non existent that month. My brain/ears didn't react to noise. My T seemed lower or the brain just didn't wanna hear it. Then boom it came back on the 27th December. So yeah its definitely all the mind. @Sammy0225
