Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
@Moni97 when I hear Clanks or sudden noises my ears physically spasm or flutter even if the noise wasn't loud. This is the Tensor Tympani on overdrive. It only happens when I hear the sound and stops immediately afterwards. I can test this by snapping my fingers by my ears. I developed this shortly after over protecting my ears (TTTS)
@Sammy0225 i tested my ears by rubbing my fingers together. Only my right fluttered, more so when I stimulated the L ear. Yesterday my nox was horrible. I feel like my test made me worse. Though I've been increasing worse since Thursday. And idk why.
@Moni97 mine is also the same one ear spasms/flutters and the other one not so much. That sensation you are feeling is from TTTS, I've had it for about 6 months but it's finally chilling out. Which test did you do?
@Sammy0225 oh sorry, test was the wrong word. My experiment with the fingers. I haven't had any tests done on my ears yet. Did you use any medication to help you. One doctor suggests I go back to Lyrica(though I think this is what caused my H or worsened it) or go on Cymbalta for nerve pain and anxiety.
