I have the same experience @Sammy0225 . They are cheap, and worth a try. I use them in the car + at the gym. And sometimes outside if its really windy. Pro wasn't worth the extra money though. Imo.
@DeanD Yea they reduce the frequency for sensitive hearing my kid laughing is now bearable also accidentally clinking silverware is also tolerable with the feeling of my ears not being so violated

I remember doing a bit of research on them and finding out that the most dampening model is the "night" one. Pros actually dampen a bit less than the regular model.
