I hope your noise stays low. I seem to have one day wonders at times when my noise is gone or extremely low, and then it resets upon awakening.

@SarahMLFlemmer, Many years and I've seen many ENTs. It's mainly in my left airplane barotrauma ear. I did have my left TMJ fixed but the noise remains. I hope you have better luck than me with your noise. It's tough for me to duplicate a quiet day but I'm still trying.
