My tinnitus gets worse while lying down only when I'm experiencing a lot of post nasal drip (I'm assuming that you're referring to the tinnitus and not the sinusitis).
I do sleep with a few pillows to keep my head elevated but it turns my morse code sound to a what can be described as a heart monitor flat lining. Just annoying trying to find a reason for it. Fluid or something ETD related I assume.
