      Hey there! I just started Flexeril today (muscle relaxer). Starting 10-15mg a day and can work up if needed and I tolerate it okay and seeing benefit. I also am still taking .25mg Ativan in the evenings. I remember you saying give the muscle relaxer time to work, when did you start seeing, or I should say hearing, benefits using the two once started?

        When you started the muscle relaxer and before you experienced decrease and improvement, did you notice any odd in and out tinnitus sounds/feelings or your tinnitus being a little sensitive? It's like my tinnitus is trying to fight back while the muscle relaxer is trying to do its job. I will be 1 week using it this Tuesday.

        Xanax for around 6 months. Mydocalm for around 3 months. Both in small dosage at night. The last 2-3 weeks in each were for progressive tapering such as every other night usage. Your doctor would guide you based on age, weight, and other considerations

      Did you take Xanax XR and what was your dosing? My Psych currently prescribes me Ativan. I definitely think even .5mg lowers the volume so I am interested in your story here. I'm also on Sertaline....

        I took the normal Xanax. Starting with 0.5mg at night before sleeping then reduced to 0.25mg at night before sleeping. Today I barely take it once a week if I’m stressed

        Okay, confirming you only took it at night? Or at night + as needed or not 3x daily like Kevin Hogan recommended. Did you take any Antidepressants as well?

        Only one pill at night. I rarely took half a pill in the afternoon. Only when really stressed. I also took half a pill of Cipralex for almost a year

      How was experience with the injections? Any bad side effects?

        No side effects other than a short temporary increase in the tinnitus for around 30min because the liquid is blocking the ear. Overall I believe that the injections helped my recovery but I cannot say for sure to what extent as I also took Xanax for around 6 months. It is important to take the injections few weeks after the acoustic trauma. How did your tinnitus start?
