@Joshua Macleod frustrations are starting to build, and rightfully so. Next week marks 6 months exactly since it was sent for peer review, and it was said "publication could take up to 6 months". Dr. Shore knows people need relief as we have nothing else, so it'd be great if all involved kept that in mind with timelines.
@ErikaS Yeah, absolutely. It's likely being written by a PhD student or post-doc who are continuing to do lab work. If it's been submitted, it's likely that reviewers are asking for revisions which may even include additional lab work to supplement the paper. It's frustrating for us on this side of the equation.
