Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
Sadly, 18 months in since tinnitus escalation and not improving and picked up more problems, so I now have: variable tinnitus, hearing loss, insomnia, depression, anxiety, TTTS/MEM, & hyperacusis. No sign of recovery, yet. Still hoping.
I didn't think I'd ever see improvement, but I've actually gotten noticeably better this summer. The T is less variable and not as loud. The H is less painful.
Wow! So nice to see people coming along! @Mo8409 I felt that same way for months, not sure. I think if things weren't improving you'd know THAT for sure.
@SarahMLFlemmer Yeah, I find it hard to accept too. I find it feels a bit like betraying the dream of hearing silence again. There is no doubt that any degree of habituation helps though.
@Joe Cuber That's exactly how it is for me. More better days, and more quieter days. I am 7 months off of my last pill, which is what gave me tinnitus.
