Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
If it makes you stress less I had panic over doxycycline spiking and was put on a long course twice and was absolutely fine. Wish I could've said the same for an MRI scan..
Ugh sorry to hear @Cmspgran .. I have mutli sound reactive tinnitus, T is very sensitive to sound and has been to certain meds and even supplements so I am worried about the Doxy. My ENT made me get an MRI literally two weeks after tinnitus onset. Wish I never done that.
@dan the tick on me was so tiny but attached and engorged. Sent it off to testing and they are actually able to tell about how long it was attached. Started Doxy 100mg 2x/day same day I removed it. I have no bulls eye or symptoms and I pray to God the Doxy doesn't send my T crazy and the tick comes back negative for Lyme and co-infections.
@dan sister found a tick on her thigh 3 summers ago. She was breast feeding at the time, and because she didn't get a bulls eye and didn't have any symptoms at first, she figured she was okay and didn't take any Doxy. BIGGEST mistake of her life.
@dan She suddenly got cardiac and Neurologi Al Lyme symptoms 6-7 weeks post bite, and got on meds then. Unfortunately, she became a chronic case and struggles a lot 3 years later. She is headed to LymeStop in Idaho in January.
