Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
Glad to hear you are habituated so quickly. I was a couple years ago and going back years, but I feel far from that at 20 months since mine spiked to a new level, although the tinnitus itself just gets more intrusive even since then.
@Utdmad89 I still hear it 24/7 for the most part. There's also times I forget about it and I don't hear it. The brain does block it out. I do watch my caffeine very carefully and spikes still do come but not to the severity they were. I hope you're doing good.
@RunningMan Mine started off as severe. It was so bad that I could feel my brain vibrate. Hyperacusis was bad, voices used to hurt and cause a bad burning in my ears. I exposed myself to everyday noises and played music at night in order to calm that beast. I'm sorry yours gotten louder. It seems common in some people. I hope you can habituate again. ❤️
