Don't miss the opportunity to attend Tinnitus Quest's online Q&A with Dr. Susan Shore and Jon Pearson, CEO of Auricle on October 13. We will hear the latest about the Susan Shore Device.
@4Grace as I mentioned earlier, I'm baffled by how the human ears can pick up such a sharp frequency. However, I won't let it drag me down. As loud as it is today, it has little to no power over me. With this condition, you have to take it day by day. Tomorrow, it might be like yesterday, where it's almost non-existent. As loud as it is right now, I can tune it out, and eventually, so will you (:
@Sammy0225 by pick up such a sharp frequency do you mean reactivity or the ability to hear high frequencies? Pissing me off how i am able to hear light switches buzzing and sounds tvs emit and other sounds no one hears lol
@Strawberryblonde "I also perceive frequencies that others cannot hear, ( light bulbs, light switches, device frequencies) even when my eyes are closed. It's quite strange, but I have become accustomed to it.
@Strawberryblonde However, what I was referring to is the pitch of my tinnitus, which can reach levels that seem are beyond the range of human hearing. It's like the sound of a laser cutting through butter. I think @ErikaS also experiences a form of the ultra high pitch dog whistle
