Her daughter is a teenager. Use well inserted earplugs or possibly double ear protection around loud noises to avoid setbacks.

@Zigs The noises that really bother you for example dishes clanking together or fans, listen to that 5 mins everyday without protection. Take earplugs breaks throughout the day. Listen to your toddler in small amounts and use ginger/turmeric tea for pain and inflammation management.

@Zigs I remember the alarms in hospitals killed me but I still exposed myself. You have to expose yourself to these noises a little more each day. Even if you start off at night on YouTube videos. You have to teach your brain that sounds aren't painful. Do it safely, listen to your body, don't over do it but don't run because the sound is uncomfortable. You know you best.
