  • Hello all, I have experienced tinnitus in my right ear high ring nonstop since 1987. Today is 5/5/2025. It's still ringing…
bless all those who suffer with this mind blowing sound..
As long as I have tinnitus, I'll have suicidal ideation. There's no separating the two.

I know exactly what you mean. So sorry we are going through this hell ❤️For me, I try to frame it positively (not that it always works): as long as I have tinnitus, if I get a fatal disease, then it will not seem as scary. What a life huh.

I agree with you. Nobody else that I know around here has this at my age. And I'm glad that they don't. I wish I got this at the age of 80. I shouldn't have read horrific stories about some ppls tinnitus being as loud as a jet engine, it's scary. I don't know if I'd be able to survive it. I just pray that it doesn't get worse.

Can you still go to the cinema or do you find it too loud? How do you cope with your T? Are you able to tune it when watching movies and tv shows for example?
Is it possible as a 27 year old that the tinnitus might stay the same for the rest of my life? Does it always get worse?

All you can do is protect your ears and do the right things. My tinnitus stayed the same for around 20 years before worsening, although I didn't protect my ears enough.
