    My Tinnitus Has Changed ...

You have spent countless of voluntary hours helping the poor victims of T, Dr. Nagler, while carrying a severe version of T yourself - always keeping the morale amongst the troops high. You don't deserve this. I hate destiny and God. There is no justice in the world. Best of luck from Denmark.

Just Want to Say Thank You for All Your Knowledge and Support

I also want to use the occasion to just say thanks. Tinnitus has wrecked my life, but tinnitustalk has helped me hang in there and find a new foundation to stand on. I'm basically "checking in" every day, several times even, to check for new information and just to feel the belonging aspect, and...

Audiogram and Other Hearing Test Results

@marqualler My audiogram pre-T somehow looks like yours. I have attached: - 1 audiogram before I had T (from 2011) - 2 audiograms after I got T - 1 DPOAE after I got T I'm sure that I have a steeper gap around 6-6,3khz, if it was tested out more finegrained around that area. When I listen to...

    Otoacoustic Emissions Test (Tinnitus Update)

Just for curious souls, I have attached my OAE. I'm sure that my tinnitus has a strong reference to the dive at 6khz, and I'm also sure, that I didn't have that dive before my acoustic trauma. Also suits that I have tinnitus slightly more strong in left ear.

Collect Money to Get Autifony Drug?

Definitely. But it's also that my passion, pride and profession relies on the ability to focus, and that's basically gone. From a society perspective, it would also make sense for society to pump some money in me to fix me, so that I can pay them back in the next 30 years on the working market...

    Yawning with Noise Induced Tinnitus

I had the yawn-syndrome-tinnitus before I got my noise induced tinnitus, and I can say the following: The two phenomenas work completely independent. At least for me. I don't think, they are in any way related.

    Flavours of Tinnitus

Dear Dr. Nagler, I have learned through time, that people with tinnitus experience it in a lot of different ways. Sometimes they are so different, that one might think, that the "tinnitus" symptome covers a huge palette of different underlying diseases/malfunctionings in our health. I know this...

Those Who Have Had Tinnitus for at Least 1 Year: Does It Get Better at What % Rate?

I contracted tinnitus almost 2 years ago. I have the following observations: - 10% better after 2 months: I began to be able to sleep again, and some of my "bonus tracks" in my brain faded. - 10% better after 2 years: I am not panicking so much about my T. So in total a 20% improvement. But I'm...

    Tinnitus Reaction Just After Masking

Dear people, I have two different tinnitus in my head. I just realised, that they react completely opposite, when I end masking. This made me curious to how you people experience it. To this extend I became creative in MSPaint to illustrate my two very different experiences with T. Do you...

    How Often Do You Mask?

@Dr. Nagler I read your short paper about tinnitus, and they are always empathic and thoughtful words. I try not to mask besides having the computer running or the like. Thanks for your response. I think it's more or less the same situation in Denmark. Problem With the Idea That in Silence Everyone Will Start to Experience Tinnitus?
