Pulsatile Tinnitus is the metronome of my life now, but not my master. Years ago I started writing music for the sole purpose of making my tinnitus part of it. I got the idea from the song “ Blackbird “ by the Beatles. The open third guitar string G, is repeatedly played throughout the song. I thought my high PT note could become the piccolo and tempo of a song. With the help of Guitar pro, I believed it possible, and this gave me hope.

Now I have the songs to help me fall asleep, if my PT becomes a pest. Although I may be adjusted to pulsating tinnitus, once in awhile it kicks at my door saying “I’m Back!!”, louder than ever before.

The song “Blackbird” is about a woman sitting in the back of a bus, and like this woman in the song, we are also, “Waiting for the moment to be free.”
