A Week Old Tinnitus

I have an unknown cause of my T. A doctor said I have scoliosis and I need to do therapy. I went to ENT today, he gave me prednisone theraphy. 100mg 1st day. Till 2.5 mg on 14th day.
I had a mild T last week, I didn't bother too much. But today it was louder. I think it's because I tried to clean something in my nose repeatedly by my breathing.
I am really scared I damaged more. I was really happy that I had mild T which I could 'cure' outside my room. But today I cried on the street because I can hear it too. Maybe it's still moderate but I read so many stories that it's not cureable.

The effect of the medicine was good for a few hours. T is lower but it came back again. Do you guys think this medicine works for me?

 

I also chewed chewing gum yesterday because it helped me to distract. I had a small fight with my girlfriend. I watched soccer in front of laptop. I wished I stayed at home doing nothing yesterday. I
