      Tinnitus Since:
      10/2003
I know some people have acid reflux and it exacerbates their tinnitus. Way before I had my initial bout of tinnitus, I got a really bad inclination in the lining of my lungs & esophagus, which was causing chest pains.

I haven’t really dealt with that since, but lately I’ve been having that chest pain again and it’s after I consume certain things (coffee, wine, peanut butter, and other things that I can’t figure out, but definitely trigger it). But I’d notice when this happens, behind my ears and jaw get very sore and my tinnitus spikes.

Has anyone experienced anything like this?

I have had TMJ since my wisdom teeth extraction (which is right before my tinnitus went crazy and became way louder). I guess it could be that I am tensing up from the pain, but it doesn’t seem that way, it just seems like the pain and tinnitus flair up when the chest pains occur. I do have celiac disease and stay away from gluten, but I thought it was odd that this has been happening and wondered if anyone knew of anything like this?
