I have been reading a thread on another forum about ADHD. I had no idea that the medical community merged ADD and ADHD into one, and literally saying it is the same thing. I totally disagree. I am easily distracted, but I'm not in the least bit hyper. But I'm sure I have adult ADD.

Anyway, it just came to me that tinnitus is probably the cause of my ADD. I'm not going to go to the expense and trouble of seeing a doctor about this simply because
      1. I know I have ADD.
      2. I know I have Tinnitus.
      3. And I'm not accepting any meds.

      That is all. :)

I don't know why they have to integrate "hyperactive" into it at all. Some people are hyperactive, some have ADD, some have both. I've had ADD my whole life. As a kid I was diagnosed with "Inattentive ADD". Which basically means if i'm not interested in it, I can't pay attention to it.

"Adult ADD" also bothers me, of course adults can have ADD. The general public's preconceived notions of ADD are bad.
