Almost 5 Months. Some Days Are Better.

I've had ETD for about 5 months now and I've been having some better days. Some days are still rough. Do you think my T has a chance to go away?

 

Personally I'd say no, but you never know. It's been said, if T doesn't resolve in the first three months it's permanent. However, there had been some alleged miracles where T disappeared after years. So who knows..

 

Yes, why not? i mean the best you can do is to try to live with it and habituate.
since no doctor or human in earth really understand tinnitus.
some people have it and then goes away after 3, 6 months, after 2 years or 10 years.
if your tinnitus is ETD related, there are a lot of chances it will resolve in its own.

Thanks! 2 days ago it was almost silent. So I'm hoping to have more days like that.

 

i have had those days lately, hoping is a good sign!

 

I believe a cure will happen one day so I do think it will go away. I've had it for 3 months now and I'll assume I'll have it until a cure. But some days are better

 

I had ETD that lasted 8 months.

 

Trish - there are many, many documented cases of people having T for years and it going away completely.
