Just curious, I've noticed others have posted that it causes spikes for them and am realizing (big Mexican lunch today) that it does seem to make my t louder for hours. What do you think is in that kind of food that would stimulate the brain?

Yes I think it might be the sodium because that would draw moisture out of the inner ear? I have noticed that sometimes when I have a spike if I really concentrate on getting well hydrated it comes down. My doc said that what causes spikes is usually things that stimulate the brain. I had to stop taking my estrogen supplements because they cause a huge spike (estrogen is a brain stimulant as well as its other purposes). Of course some people's spikes are noise related, but mine don't seem to be.
