My dr just prescribed it with ambien to help sleep. Been dealing with a flair up and was curious if anyone had side from it like increased tinnitus?

After 3 years of tinnitus found ambien caused it. Stopped ambien and it got better. After not taking ambien for 6 months took half a pill and immediately got ear pressure and tinnitus. Waiting for it to go away and threw away all my ambien

Doxepin is a tricyclic that might have some mild sleep inducing properties due to its affinity for the histamine receptors, ambien is a straight up Z drug for knocking you out.

I've been taking Ambien for years. I want to try and get off it.
I have a prescription for Doxepin. I'm worried I will not be able sleep.
Has anyone used Doxepin and how much did you take?

Hi all, it’s been a while. Decided to see if there’s any talk about doxepin here. I started to try these for improving sleep and my T seemed to flare up. It’s been quite low for many many months...

@Sound Wave how are you going with doxepin now? I have been told its quite effective for sleep ( I am chronic insomniac) however if it causes increase in tinnitus I am hesitant to try it!!
      Has it improved for you?
