Looking at the B vitamin supplements available I've noticed that most contain calcium in the form of Dicalcium Phosphate Dihydrate. As I've read that calcium can cause T this worries me. Just wondering if all those taking B vits are taking a brand without this?

      Hi markku

It may not be correct but someone did mention it to me during the past few months (since my T started). I remember it because mineral water high in calcium has always made me feel weird.

Apparently too much calcium can cause the blood vessels to the ear to narrow - this reduces the amount of oxygen that the ear receives and can result in T.

The Hard of Hearing site at http://www.hearinglosshelp.com/articles/tinnitus.htm mentions 'calcium build up' rather than the supplements..

'Other conditions that can trigger tinnitus include calcium build-up on the small bones in your middle ears (otosclerosis)'

so if a 'build up' of calcium' can cause it surely taking calcium can't be good? Or maybe it's a totally different type of calcium?

My T is screaming right now which is why I'm looking up supplements. Bought B vits ages ago but haven't taken any yet - went through the ingredients and found the calcium type additive.
