I was just prescribed Locacorten Vioform ear drops and I’m hesitant to use it.

Has anyone had experience with this medication? Did it help?

Why was this prescribed to you and why are you hesitant?

She mentioned I have fluid in my ears, I assume for quite some time now so I believe they’re inflamed. I was also prescribed a nasal spray, I’m okay with taking the spray but the ear drops I’m hesitant just because I don’t like anything in my ears.

I got the same medication for a bad outer ear infection, possible perforated ear drum (we can't see). I'm worried about ototoxicity as we don't know if my ear drum is perforated. I searched but couldn't find anything on Flumetasone/Clioquinol ear drops.
