April 26 - New Jersey Tinnitus Support

Hi All -

I will be giving a presentation "Living WithOUT Tinnitus" at the April 26 meeting of the Ewing, NJ Tinnitus Self-Help Group. The meeting will be from 10AM to 11:30AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 100 Scotch Road in Ewing. No need to pre-register, and admission is free. So if you live anywhere in the area, please think about coming to the presentation. And be sure to introduce yourself to me afterwards. Always nice to shake hands in real life!

@Karen, I have given three presentations in the Atlanta area over the past couple of years. And I attend most every meeting of the Atlanta Tinnitus Support Group. Can't do much better than that!

Any presentations in Canada Dr Nagler?

 

Not in the near future, no. In the past years I've spoken to tinnitus groups in Vancouver, Calgary, Hamilton, and Halifax. But I'm trying to slow down a bit these days - so I don't see myself going back anytime soon. I'm only going to New Jersey because the head of the Ewing Tinnitus Self-Help Group, Dhyan Cassie, is a friend of mine ... and she asked me if I would come and speak at her April meeting.

Will your presentation be available in video format??

 

No. Not that I am aware of. These support groups typically have a very limited budget. For the meeting in New Jersey, where I'm presenting at the request of a friend, I'm even covering my own airfare and accommodations.

And to be honest, I really do not have a lot of interest in developing a video.

I'm not sure I'll be able to make it to Ewing now--my truck died at a traffic light today--just quit working --had to call Ford to send a tow truck to bring it to the dealership. I don't know if it'll be fixed by Saturday.

@cullenbohannon owns a Lear Jet. His chauffeur will pick you up at your home in his red Rolls convertible and take you to the airport. Cullen will fly you to Trenton himself. Not a problem.

O How I wish that were true.

 

Dr.Nagler it was great to meet you today. It's not often I get to meet someone who I consider to be an inspiration which is a small list to begin with. Wish I could of stayed and talked longer but my sister was in a hurry and I think your time was better spent helping some others there anyway. By the way you were taller then I thought you'd be.
