Curious what to look for in audiologist and what he/she should be doing. I showed the audi my right ear audiogram (showing moderate loss at low frequencies and then sloping right off to pretty severe loss at high frequencies, where I have my T). She said best course is to program a hearing aid to fill in the high end frequencies I'm missing, and to have a T masking feature in the aid (she suggested Widex Zen).

She didn't do any kind of testing of my T to determine pitch, loudness, etc. She said she just goes based on the audiogram and makes sure to amplify the frequencies with the most hearing loss. Is there more she should be doing? Anything I should request that she do?
