      Tinnitus Since:
      2001 & then again in 2021
      Cause of Tinnitus:
1st tone 2001 ear plugs, 3 other tones 2021 Pfizer vaccine
I am going to get my ears manually de-waxed soon.

I have a choice of a place with an audiologist or a place that calls their staff Aural Care Practitioners. Anyone know the difference?

The latter seems a cheaper service, but this could just be because of the clinic rather than the job titles. Both offer manual wax removal.

      Tinnitus Since:
      11/2002; spike 2009; worse 2017-18
      Cause of Tinnitus:
      Loud music - noise damage
Aural care practitioner is probably someone unqualified. Audiologist is a protected profession title in many countries and only those who have undergone qualifying education can use it.

But aural care practitioner might have more experience removing earwax than an audiologist. I don't think audiologists remove earwax very often? Which did you end up seeing?
