This is so baffling. I have tried MANY supplements and some medications for tinnitus and each one has given me one to two days of complete silence only to have my tinnitus come roaring back. Some of the things I have tried are bioflavonoids, ginko, valerian root, Gabapentin, Carbamazepine,
Meclizine, Naltrexone, Kratom, (I love Kratom) Camomile tea, tinnitus treatment pills I got at Walgreen's, alcohol. Alcohol is the worst. Notched music. I don't know if it is a placebo effect or not. Has anyone else had this happen? I don't take any supplements at all now. I'm too afraid.
Another strange thing happened. I spent 18 days in the hospital a couple of months ago and while I was there my tinnitus stopped completely. The day after I came home it came roaring back. Shit like this drives me nuts.
