      Stress? Cold?
      Hi everyone,
I have tinnitus in both ears that were induced during two different colds (1.5 months apart) so I am guessing the reason for it is ETD or barotrauma (I was running errands between outdoor (very cold Canadian weather) & indoors).

Was just changing my toddler's clothing & she had a balloon in her hand which she popped RIGHT NEXT TO MY EAR.

My tinnitus sounds the same I guess but that freaked me out. I had taken 2g of NAC today.

I have prednisone on hand, should I start it?

      Thanks

I'd say "hell no" but this is a medical question and you should ask a medical professional and not a forum full of people with extreme and strange beliefs about drugs (including myself, of course)

Personally, I don't think it's loud enough to warrant prednisone, especially if you haven't experienced an increase in your T.

Why medication if nothing happened, imho a really bad idea.
