Does anybody have any comments/experience with being prescribed beta blockers? Hopefully positive!!
I've been prescribed oxprenolol to help with symptoms of anxiety due to T. I'm told they don't help with the emotional aspect of anxiety but just the physical symptoms such as racing heart, sweating etc. Can anyone tell me if they actually felt much better for taking them? If its just for physical symptoms and doesn't help me feel less anxious I'm asking myself is it worth it. I'm picking up in old threads that there may be a slight risk for tinnitus increase so I'm not sure what to do.

Sorry I can't be positive. My continuing experience of beta blocker is all negative. But I'm sure if you find the right one, and the optimum dose, you'll benefit.
