Bruise on Abdomen

I have recently noticed a large bruise on my abdomen not far from my belly button which I'm getting concerned about. The bruise is painless and purple in colour. I have checked up on Dr. Google and getting horror stories. I have anxiety and panic disorder and this is scaring me. I have read that this is a warning sign of a serious health condition. I have contacted my doctor and awaiting a call back.

Has anyone had bruises on their abdomen and what was it?

Yes, I once had bruises on my abdomen also.

I went to the hospital and had all the checks.

Eventually the results came through, and it turned out they were from trying to pick up women in the park at night.
