Though adequate potassium intake is important for good health, potassium deficiency is not one of the known causes of tinnitus, and potassium is not a treatment for the problem.
I have never noticed a change in my tinnitus whether I eat potassium-rich foods or not. About 15 years ago I had a serious situation of prolonged potassium deficiency which required medical intervention, but never had so much as a ping of tinnitus.
