Can severe headaches contribute to tinnitus? As 3 years ago I had the occasional headaches, nothing too worrying at first, but they slowly got worse over time.

Nothing was ever properly diagnosed and they blew up overnight into this throbbing in the front of my forehead, which is when my tinnitus really started.

I've seen a neurologist and none of the medications we tried had very much effect, so I'm just wondering in my headaches could be what started everything? I do plan to have myself looked at in more detail by an Interventional Neuroradiologist and see if they can see anything, as the whole thing worries me, but if the headaches can be fixed, is there any guarantee that the tinnitus will stop?

Digging through the forum and found this post. If you are still around, I was wondering how you are going and what you were told about your headaches.

I suspect headaches as my cause of tinnitus also (one if many potential causes).
