Hey @Daniel Lion, it already feels like summer here today. It's really warm and sunny.

As for me? I guess I'm as well as can be expected under these shitty circumstances. Just taking it day by day, because what other choice do I have?

I have an enameled cast-iron skillet and a 1925 waffle iron, which are just part of my cast-iron collection. There are no chemical pans in this home. The enameled skillet is my daily user, while the waffle iron is just for the collection. I also have a 12-inch BSR skillet with a lid, dated around 1900. It's become an addiction. Mrs. Elmer says no more cast iron, but I can't help it.

@UKBloke, that looks good to me. I would dive into them. Try frying some in a light butter sauce. You should find yourself a good cast iron frying skillet. I am only saying, those chemical-coated pans can be questionable, you never know what might be absorbed into your food.

A nice ten-inch pan from Amazon would do the job. Then ask me how to season it.

@UKBloke, amazing. You have a real green thumb. My garden is overgrown, but it still has some hidden gems, with a few fragrant flowers and leaves. I will share some photos when I get around to it.

@Elmer B Fuddled, I stopped sculpting. I wrecked my wrist and eventually had an operation. Too much wood carving and too many years of industrial work. I have started painting now. I like what I am doing, full of ideas, but feeling a bit lethargic, maybe running low on energy.

@tpj, you are always in my heart and thoughts too. Send us an update on what you are up to these days. Any news is good news.
