Hello!
I have a few symptoms that started at once about two weeks ago :
- tinnitus in the left ear only
- ear feels weird on same side (pressure/slight pain behind it inside my head, but this isn't constant)
- random times when I'm really dizzy, but this is unrelated to me moving my head or body
- I can't concentrate on my university work, it's like I'm incredibly fatigued, or just unable to focus, but when I go to take a nap, I'm not sleepy
I went to my doctor twice since, the first time she said it was positional vertigo and that the tinnitus will go away. The second time she was annoyed and said she can't magic it away for me.
I guess I just don't agree with my diagnosis, I think it's labyrinthitis instead. I'm worried I'm not getting the right treatment (which is currently nothing).
Will tinnitus last forever if I do have labyrinthitis and it goes untreated?
Thank you!
Rose
