      Hey guys.

So I have had intrusive tinnitus from noise exposure for about 2 years.

I went climbing a couple of days ago (which I do very seldom and probably won't do anymore now) and I hit my head pretty bad about 2 times.

When I came home that night my ears were screaming loud and they have not calmed down for about 3-4 days. I have also been having a constant mild headache since then. They did have loud music at the climbing gym but I'd be surprised if that could have harmed me since it was not for long in a very big gym.

Have any of you experienced an increase in tinnitus from hitting your head? Did it pass or stay?

My tinnitus has been under control for many years, only escalating in volume when exposed to loud situations, and in such cases it would return to a baseline low hum after a few days.

This was the case until about 3 weeks ago when I fell off a chair and slightly hit the back of my head (non concussed).

Since then the volume had increased noticeably. Anyone experience a similar situation?
