Cause of Tinnitus
1. loud Concert | 2. loud club | 3. tympanometry
As some might know I have had a major exacerbation of tinnitus from a tympanometry along with an acoustic reflex test. Tinnitus went through the roof that same day.
What still kinda baffles me is that I developed a new tone about 3 days later.

Until now I thought that it was related to the tympanometry but then I remembered that in the ER where I went 1 day later the doctor made a so-called Weber's test or Rinne test.

To those who don't know those names: It's the test where the doc puts a tuning fork first on your mastoid then next to your ear to see if your hearing ability is ok.

It was really just for maybe a second but could that too have worsened my tinnitus permanently?

Has anyone had that experience with a Weber's test?
