Crossing Over from Zoloft to Luvox Has Worsened My Tinnitus — Any Thoughts?

So, I started Luvox 25 mg and went from 106.25 mg to 100 mg of Zoloft, this was 10 days ago.

The idea is to cross over from Zoloft to Luvox because the former wasn't helping much.

But yesterday and today I guess my tinnitus got a bit louder and more annoying.

Do you think that it's worth waiting before quitting the new med?

I wonder if some a temporary increase in tinnitus volume when starting a new SSRI... or is it persistent?

 

I decided to stop Luvox yesterday. Tinnitus went almost back to the baseline level.

I wonder if there is an optimal strategy for those with tinnitus to cross over ADs.

I am considering trying again very slowly like starting on 5 mg or so.
