Do You Reckon This Could Go? And What Could Be Causing This?

Hi I've had tinnitus in my left ear for a month

I seen a ent And my hearing is fine It's driving me insane

I'm having a Mri scan

It's mainly in the left ear but sometimes in the right but that normally goes


Do you recon this could go and also what could be causing this

Well, most tinnitus resolves on its own, given a bit of time. It might help to keep in mind that this board is largely populated by the distinct minority of individuals for whom that is not true.

Whether or not it will resolve in your case is something I cannot predict. Hopefully it will - but even if it does not, please know that there is much you can do to achieve meaningful relief anyway.

It might also help top keep in mind that words really do matter - and that while your tinnitus might make you extremely uncomfortable, it is not driving you "insane" ... and saying that it is serves to accomplish nothing more than make you feel worse than you already do!
