Going for a hearing test next Thursday and my audiologist wants me to have the tympanometry test done as well. She wants to know if I have ETD. I have never had it before because I've always been afraid it could make things worst....

Is it loud?? Can anyone tell me how is this test done and if there is a chance for it to aggravate T? Thanx.

Acoustic Reflex tests can be quite loud. It doesn't last very long though.
