I’ve got high frequency hearing loss and tinnitus in my left ear. When I test my hearing in that ear, I can’t hear the noise but I can feel the energy and it leaves my inner ear sore.

Is this just because the inner ear is being stimulated, even though I can’t hear the specific frequency? Could this indicate movement, and perhaps healing?

No it's noxacusis (noise induced pain) and probably happening because there is still some very poor hearing left.

Interesting that you document this while having high frequency hearing loss.

Sorry, have I put this in the wrong place? Well, no I can't hear it for it's pure tone, but I can sort of sense the energy or vibration if you know what I mean? As in I can still pick up something happening and the pain also lets me know.

No it's just interesting you are the first case I've seen on the forum of someone experiencing discomfort/pain from sound where they have significant hearing loss in that frequency range.
