ETD and Subtle Tinnitus

Hey guys. I'm Nate.

I'm kinda new with this whole tinnitus thing. It and my other symptoms started two weeks ago after a sinus infection, and I also hear like crackling when I swallow and fullness in my right ear.

My tinnitus is really very subtle, and only affects me in a quiet room at night and in my right ear. And I can sleep with it aswell, so it's not like life-changing or anything. I'm pretty sure everything is really caused by ETD.

I am going to see an ENT in about two weeks after I visited my local physician and she prescribed Flonase for two weeks and it did remove the fluid in my ear, but I guess my ETD has lasted. I have also felt like little pain once in a while in the back of my head on the right side.

Note that I have not been officially diagnosed, but would like to know the following:

1. Could the pain be related to tinnitus and ETD?
2. And is the level of severity of tinnitus say anything about this case?

Hi, sounds exactly like mine, started with a cold, just in my right ear (later moved to left and head) in the beginning, could always sleep in silence.

I also had some random ear pain once in a while, never knew why. Mine started to get better after around 2-3 months. So i hope the same will happen to you.
